today in class we went around the room and looked at what hammurabi would have done in the situations that we got on the blue piece of paper and his ideas were so much different than what I thought was a good punishment for the broken laws. For most the punishment was death and I think that was way too far fo most of the crimes. I also don't agree with the eye for an eye law because each person has a different idea of what the did and there reasons for doing it.
