direct democracy- a form of govt in which citizens rule directly and not through representatives, was and important legacy of perigean Athens.

plato-Plato was an Athenian philosopher during the Classical period in Ancient Greece, founder of the Platonist school of thought, and the Academy, the first institution of higher learning in the Western world

Aristotle-Aristotle was a philosopher during the Classical period in Ancient Greece, the founder of the Lyceum and the Peripatetic school of philosophy and Aristotelian tradition. Along with his teacher Plato, he is considered the "Father of Western Philosophy"

2.)I think to hold and strengthen the empire was the best move he made because they would be safe and it would benefit all of Athens as filling Athens with art would make it look cool. To strengthen the government only allowed certain people to be involved so strengthening the government helped everyone. 

3.) He increased the number of public officials who were paid salaries. 

4.)Athens waited until Sparta attacked them in the sea because they had an amazing navy. Sparta has an amazing army. 

5.) One reason the people wouldn’t like him would be because he didn’t believe in the God’s which is their whole religion.
